Welcome to my blog! My name is David M. Williams and I am a computer consultant and author based in Newcastle, Australia.

By day (and night, and weekends …) I am the Chief Information Officer for a large national organisation.

I am passionate about technology. Along with two colleagues, I co-founded the Newcastle Coders’ Group, a software-developer focused user-group.

I currently write for ITWire and examine for the Australian Computer Society.
